Week one

It’s been two weeks since lil’ bear’s arrival, and I’m just now getting around to posting about it. I will get around to writing out this one’s birth story, but I’m still processing that day. It was quite an adventure to say the least.

Our first week was, shall we say, rough. With four days spent in the hospital, you might think it would have been a breeze with nurses around, but recovery has been a bit more trying this time around. I know I’m just hinting at the fun that we had, and I promise to fill it all in later.

Besides the hospital, the only other outing was to the pediatrician. See, like his big brother, lil’ bear lost some weight after his birth. So it was off for a first check-up to make sure everything was okay. Luckily, he had gained a couple ounces. We are still trying to get him back up to birth weight, but the eating has improved. What is with my boys and their weight issues?
