Mama got some new shoes
After several weeks of CrossFit, it was definitely sticking. Actually, I was stuck. I love some CrossFit.
My running shoes just weren’t cutting it. The heal to toe differential kept causing me to roll forward during lifts, and the soft, cushy soles made things a little more difficult. So after much research, I decided on the Merrell Women’s Pace Glove in pretty Caribbean Sea.
I wore them around last night and then into the gym this morning. So far they feel great. I feel great (besides a bit of soreness from the dead lifts).
While I might not be in the top tier for the WOD finishes, I can already feel the difference that CrossFit is making. One day this mama will do real pull-ups and do the WODs as prescribed (no scaling). Both are goals I’ve set to accomplish by the end of the year. That’s just two of the goals. I come up with at least one goal after each workout.
This week, I accomplished one of them – five workouts in a week.
